Who’s It for?
If you face a variety of challenges:
- Helping people to realise their full potential
- Supporting people in new or returning roles
- Helping to pick people up after setbacks or disappointment
- Supporting people into new or changed roles
The emerging research on personal strengths can help you in all these areas.
In fact, recent research shows that people who recognize and use their core strengths are more likely to perform well and to be happy in what they do.
This workshop will:
- Help you understand what a real strength is – and why a person who has all the requirements to do a job well may still have little motivation to do it!
- Show how identifying and working with true strengths can help a person raise and sustain their performance
- Give you practical ways to identify strengths in yourself and colleagues, and then use them more effectively in the workplace
- Demonstrate ways to use strengths to deliver both well-being and high performance
and…..
- Answer the key question of what to do about weaknesses (and we all have them!)
The workshop is based on recent research from the field of Positive Psychology and will include short inputs, practical activities and some supporting notes with suggested follow-up reading.
